Property - Severance Tax Tab

Enter the Severance Tax information applicable to the property. The Severance Tax code will correspond to your Severance Tax Rate Maintenance setup screen. The only Severance Tax codes that will be displayed for a particular property are the ones that are related to the property's state. For example, if a property is located in the state of Texas, the only Severance Tax codes that can be selected are the ones that are setup for Texas in the Severance Tax Rate Maintenance. Additionally, all sequences will be charged for the severance tax code chosen. See Severance Tax.
NOTE: The Exempt Cert Number prints on the Kansas KDOR severance tax report.
