The Start Reporting Cycle allows you to change to the current fiscal year, then define the maximum number of barrels used in marginal determining tests and the legal percent allowable by law by lease type prior to executing a new cycle.

You should only start a new fiscal year when you finish the prior year. You are not able to go backward to print prior year depletion. Upon starting a new fiscal year, you are, in essence, removing all prior year history to begin next year's depletion. The amounts from the prior year are carried forward to the beginning balance of the current year and cannot be undone. It is recommended that you print all reports for the prior year before beginning a new year, as these reports are not available historically.
