Sales History by Customer
The Sales History by Customer Report provides a comparative listing of current and prior year sales by customer.
NOTE: If using the Multiple Prior Years option, the first column printed will be the current period.
Sum by Customer Cycle
Cycles are used in Accounts receivable for mailing out statements. They are set up by clicking on the A/R Cycle# Maintenance button. Click on Add and enter the cycle number and the description. Once the cycle # is defined, assign each customer to a cycle in Sub-Account Maintenance on the A/R tab.
Activity Analysis
The A/R Activity Analysis Report will show the account activity by the customer for a specific time frame, usually the end of two consecutive months, in an aging format. This is a management-type report that makes it easier to view the difference in account balances from one month to the next. It also helps management decide if they need to write off bad debt due to the length of time a receivable is past due. The activity shown for the time frame will show the A/R Aging as of the first date, the payments applied during the period, new invoices added, any write-offs or adjustments, and the A/R aging as of the ending date.
Enter the Accounts Receivable account number and a Sub-Account or range of Sub-Accounts. To view all Sub-Accounts, leave the Sub-Account range blank through ZZZZZZ. This will allow all Sub-Accounts to be included in the report. Next, enter the dates that you would like to view the report (normally the end of two consecutive months). Finally, if you would like to see each customer printed individually on the report, check the box for Print Each Customer.
